A new era

     Hello everyone. I haven't posted on this blog in A WHILE.  I have been working on my other blog, The Sizzling Mommy. How are you all?
     In my last post, I complained that I could not feel my baby moving much. Well, thank God with me because I did give birth to a baby girl, Michelle Manfon, who is almost 9 months old now.
     I have decided to close this blog and start another one to reflect more closely my life as a lady living in Nigeria.

Help! My baby's not moving as much!

     Have you ever heard about medical students syndrome? This is when a medical student would imagine themselves to have the symptoms of a particular disease. I was guilty of doing this a few times (I'm sure I was better than many of my school mates!) From experience, I can tell you that it gets better as you get more experienced.

Coping with jealousy while trying to conceive

     I just read this headline: Kourtney Kardashian: I'm Pregnant! In case you don't know already, I'm a fan of Kim Kardashian. I just don't know why I have a soft spot for her although I'm still upset about what her divorce (Read my thoughts on Kim's divorce HERE).
     Kim's older sister, Kourtney, 32, announced today that she's expecting her second child with her long-time boyfriend, Scott Disick (I think it's time they got married already!?). I just couldn't help thinking about Khloe who's been trying to conceive with her husband of her 2 years. Although she must be ecstatic for her sister, I feel that she might experience a little disappointment.

Baby teeth: when is too late?

     A few weeks ago, my daughter's first tooth finally erupted just before she turned 11 months. To tell you that I haven't been worried would be a lie. My son had his first teeth before he turned 7 months and by the time he was 11 months, I think he had enough to chew chicken! Besides, every where I looked around me, I saw other babies with teeth. Even babies younger than my dear daughter.
